About Me

Hello visitors!

I am qualified to comment on Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, Personal Training and hopefully at the end of 2014, will be able to add school teaching to this list. I feel like I have spent too much time at school, however I have concluded that I actually probably like learning.

I am passionate about Australian Rules Football. I play at my local side and avidly support the Geelong Football Club. I am a bit of a sport junkie, and will give most things a watch and in time learn to love them and become passionate about them. Football/Soccer/The World Game (Manchester United and Australian soccer in general), cricket (Australia of course!) are the two other obvious candidates, however I have played years of tennis, golf, basketball, mixed netball etc. You name it, I’m happy to give it a crack.

I have a keen interest in the natural world, and enjoy owning a Labrador. One of the most enjoyable and rewarding things about being a dog owner is being able to experience more of the natural world by taking walks where you might not usually venture. Seeing animals in their natural habitat gives me a thrill, and seeing the impact that we can have on the environment inspires me to try to make choices that are relevant to where our place is in the world. I enjoy being in the garden, and particularly planting shrubs and trees that will ultimately be beneficial to the fauna that frequents the area that I live, as well as being visually appealing for us humans.

I hope that you enjoy the pictures that I post and some of the stories that I tell, although admittedly they are generally only about the dog. Start a debate, throw a comment, ask me about my life. I am more than happy to have a chat.

Thanks for stopping by,

Daniel.
